Scrum Master Global Bridge InfoTech Inc. has an opening for the position of Scrum Master (Ref# SM1027PB) to work in Irving, TX and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Responsible for implementing Scrum practices and Agile methodologies across multiple IT projects. Work with multiple IT teams supporting their use of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) using knowledge of the complete software development life-cycle (SDLC). Responsible for driving adoption of Agile and Lean values, principles, and practices. Utilize Lean principles to analyze information and evaluate the results to choose best solution, solve problems, and remove the unwanted process. Attend Program Increment (PI) planning in the SAFe environment. Conduct all Scrum ceremonies such as daily Scrum meeting, backlog grooming, sprint planning meeting, sprint review/demo, and sprint retrospectives. Involved in Scrum of Scrums, weekly release management, and Scrum Master discussions for better understanding of what is going on within the train and the teams. Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution and improve transparency. Work closely with the product owner upon what features are going to be implemented for what release. Support and help the product owner and analyst, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog. Remove impediments, giving support on pair programming to help the new team members. Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values. Assess the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. Identify and correct bottlenecks. Build a trusting and safe environment when it comes to retrospectives where problems can be raised with an emphasis on problem solving. Document and maintain the team’s confluence space with up dated process, user flows, troubleshooting, meeting notes, and lessons learned. Identify root cause and propose solutions to resolve software defects. Use of Agile-Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban, UML, RUP, JIRA, Confluence, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, MS Project, Linux, and Windows. Travel and/or relocation required.
Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Business Analyst, Software Developer, or related experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with Agile, SDLC, and JIRA. 40hrs/week.
